Ivy and Donghyun are expecting the arrival of their first child, a baby girl with the name of Sophie, in late August, so one day in early summer, we met for a stroll in the Marin Headlands and a picnic overlooking the foggy Golden Gate Bridge. A basket from the farmer’s market was carefully prepared with fresh berries, cheese, and flowers, and the two snuggled up together on a blanket with pillows for some quiet moments together.
