Jag and Rupinder almost didn’t book a Maui babymoon photography session. They wanted to keep things slow and relaxing. Plus, they were also stuck on a past wedding shoot that had not felt good. They remembered the stress of forced posing and were hesitant to trade a quiet evening for that kind of pressure again. […]

A really common question I get from clients is what happens if it rains for your Maui family photos? You might even check out the weather report even before you get to the island, and freak out. Especially during rainy season, when the forecast can look like this… I totally understand it! The good and […]

I met this lovely family of three at Kahekili Beach for Ka’anapali sunset family photos. Little Kaden was the sweetest and full of energy and personality, but also really engaged in the session! I usually start family sessions with a more structured and directed approach where we walk and get those formal photos, and then […]

A Stylist and Photographer’s Guide There are two questions I almost always get asked by clients… Choosing what to wear for your Maui family portrait can be super overwhelming! This sweet honeymoon portrait was shot at Makena’s secret cove as an inspiration to brides on honeymoon or for their elopement looking to create a bright, colorful, and tropical look: something reminiscent of 60s Hawaiian photos and postcards sent home from paradise to loved ones.

It was a colorful day with lots of laughter, dancing balloons, static hair, and gentle touches to the belly as baby girl Huntley let us know she was present as well.

Endless rolling hills of bright orange poppies underneath a baby blue sky–that’s the promise of a super bloom at Antelope Valley Poppy Reserve in Lancaster. And when it’s really on, it delivers California vibes of the highest order.
